Ok, I've been researching on what I need to get surround sound to the living room. You will have seven sets of four banana plugs. Two black and two red for each speaker. You do not really need such a tool. But it would not hurt if you do not have anything. You will need to RCA cable for the subwoofer. You will want to strip of power or power conditioning. You will need a DVD player or Bluray-positive type of TV. (I assume you already have it).
